About Steve
Bio
Steve has been playing hockey for 35+ years, and recently retired from competitive hockey. He played the majority of minor hockey in the Stoney Creek Minor Hockey Association playing at the AAA level (now the Hamilton Jr Bulldogs). Played junior hockey for the Stoney Creek Spirit (98), Glanbrook Rangers (98/99), Hamilton Kilty B’s (99/00), Thorold Blackhawks (00/01,01/02). After completing his years of junior hockey, Steve went on to play two seasons with the Brock Badgers while completing his university degree. Following university, he played 13 years of Senior AAA hockey in Ontario. Over his career, Steve was able achieve the following as a player:
2 OMHA Championships (90,95)
Jr C All Ontario Championship (99)
Jr B Sutherland Cup Finalist (01)
Jr B Most Valuable Defenseman Trophy (02)
2 Allan Cup Championships (08,14)
Steve started coaching minor hockey in 2016/17 and has coached players with experience at every level from NHL, AHL, OHL, Jr A/B/C, AAA, AA, A, AE and LL.
